The 7 Landscapes Trail: This shorter trail, a few hundred meters long, is ideal for families and visitors seeking a peaceful walk, discovering the reserve’s various environments and emblematic plants. Starting from the Reserve House: small 700-meter loop. Duration: 15 minutes
The Nasse Trail: this path, lined with century-old bald cypresses, follows the current to Pas du Loup, then descends towards the dunes. Along the way, a 400-year-old cork oak amazes visitors with its towering silhouette. Starting from the Pichelèbe bridge parking lot: 7 km loop, duration: 2h20
The Huchet Trail: This easy and pleasant hike is one of the most popular in the reserve. The trail starts at the Pichelèbe bridge parking lot, leading to the mouth of the current, where a dazzling ocean view awaits you. Starting from Pichelèbe: 3 km (round trip), duration: 1h.
The Estuary Trail: an astonishing and exotic walk that winds along the Huchet current for several kilometers amidst lush vegetation worthy of a bayou. The arrival at the ocean is spectacular! Starting from Pichelèbe: 9 km loop, duration: 2h45.
The Marsh Trail: It also starts at the Reserve House, and takes you through the Pipe Marsh, offering breathtaking views of calm waters and water lilies. It’s an excellent option for observing local flora and fauna without needing a long walk. Starting from Pichelèbe: 2 km loop. Duration: 40 minutes.

- A topo-guide, with detailed itineraries for each hike, is available at the reserve’s reception pavilions, priced at 3 euros.
- Guided tour: a naturalist guide can accompany you to enrich your experience and discover the reserve in a fun and original way.
- Make sure you are well-equipped for hiking, with comfortable shoes, water, a cap, and sunscreen.
- Respect the environment and follow the reserve’s rules to preserve its pristine nature. Stay on the trails to avoid trampling wild flora and disturbing wildlife.
- Dogs are prohibited in the nature reserve, even on a leash, to ensure the tranquility of wild animals.
